“My boyfriend was hit by a train over a month ago. He is a Truck Driver, not receiving any assistance and is seeking a lawyer right now. He has been out of work this whole time. He really needs assistance, he is in therapy for his pain. We appreciate any assistance you can provide.”

“I was terminated from work due to health conditions (CAD, Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and COPD). We have applied for assistance and were told that our income level was above threshold but we need help. I am waiting to hear back from unemployment. We moved back from NC to Albuquerque, me, my wife, and 2 year old daughter, because of my health problems from about 6 months ago.”

“Hello my name is Matthew Bowdish.
I have a family of 5 and we have been struggling as of late dude yo covid 19. We have been having slot of trouble financially and physically. I suffer from lupus/fibromyalgia and will be having a procedure on my kidneys end of August. And being that I have an auto immune disease , it’s even more a challenge to be out and about or do anyone outside of my home. Looking to get some from you all if possible.
…
I am more then thankful for you guys and what you have done for my family and I. I just figured I would respectfully ask as not only did the food you provided us with helped extremely. I really am so very thankful for you guys and as soon as I get past these trials and tribulations I am dealing with. It would be an honor to help you all on the front lines and pay it forward.”

…To Dhaka, Bangladesh
The hunger relief project in Bangladesh was started to provide aid to the very lower middle class families; those who cannot afford food for their families on a daily basis, those who are silently suffering, trying to survive but do not feel they can ask anyone for help.
For this program, we have been selecting ten families per week and supplying them with a few staple lasting food items during these tremulous Covid-19 times. Each package includes:
5kg rice,
2kg lentils,
5kg flour,
1 liter cooking oil
100 taka
We have been doing this since the beginning of June 2020, every Friday, and will continue as long as funds permit; our goal is to reach 500 families. The photos below reflect us distributing to families. We’ve been delivering the packages, in person, to their doors as a surprise. The recipients have been so grateful, feeling they’ve not been forgetting by someone somewhere midst Covid-19 struggles; that someone cared to think of their hardships.
