Comilla Girls School
In February 2019, CHP donated tables and chairs to a girls school in a remote location of Comilla, Bangladesh. They are slowly building the school as their funds permit.
Gazipur Orphanage
Before non-profit CHP was officially established, we had been helping this astounding orphanage since 2012. This girls orphanage is completely self-sufficient. The female teachers and students do their own gardening in growing their own produce on their relatively small piece of land. They have a few animals of their own, sew their own dresses, and along with inclusion of all core subjects for all grade levels (daycare/pre-school through high school), they provide English and Arabic studies in addition to Banglah.
After a student completes high school, as they attend university they have the option to live there till they’re on their feet and feel comfortable. Since 2012, we have periodically been providing them with books for their library, storybooks by authors they choose, school supplies, toys, spools of cloth for their dresses, and scarves. We also helped rebuild a clean water tank a few years ago when they lacked funds to do so, and aided with building construction due to past safety issues. We will continue aiding for their safety, provide supplies as they need, and our time for play days.
